Author Guidelines

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should carefully review the journal scope, article types, double-blind review requirements, and ethical responsibilities. Submission indicates acceptance of these guidelines and the publishing policies of Sokhanfam Quarterly.

1. Scope and Accepted Article Types

  • Original research articles in education, literature, foreign languages, and related interdisciplinary fields.
  • Review or analytical articles that examine the literature in a systematic, critical, and methodologically clear way.
  • Book reviews related to the journal fields.

2. Double-Blind Review Requirements

  • The main manuscript file must not include author names, affiliations, emails, acknowledgements, researcher identifiers, or any identifying information.
  • Author information should be entered in the contributors section of the system and, when needed, in a separate author information file.
  • References to authors’ previous work should not reveal author identity.

3. Manuscript Preparation

  • Title, abstract, keywords, and references must be complete and accurate.
  • Tables, figures, and appendices should be numbered, titled, and cited in the text.
  • References should be consistent, traceable, and prepared according to the journal’s required citation style.
  • When data, images, questionnaires, tools, software, or copyrighted content are used, the author is responsible for obtaining required permissions.

4. Publication Ethics

  • The manuscript must be original and must not be under consideration by another journal at the same time.
  • All persons who made a meaningful scholarly contribution should be listed as authors, and author order must be agreed upon by all authors.
  • Financial, institutional, research-related, or personal conflicts of interest must be disclosed at submission.
  • Research involving human participants must respect informed consent, data confidentiality, and research ethics requirements.
  • Plagiarism, data fabrication, data manipulation, duplicate publication, and honorary or ghost authorship are not acceptable.

5. Editorial Process

After submission, the manuscript is screened for scope, completeness, anonymization, and initial quality. Eligible manuscripts are sent for double-blind peer review. Editorial decisions may include acceptance, revision, resubmission for review, or rejection.

6. After Acceptance

After acceptance, the corresponding author must complete the revised manuscript, final metadata, author information, references, and files required for PDF and XML/JATS production. DOI/Crossref registration will be completed after the formal service is activated.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submission, the author confirms that:

  • The main manuscript file is prepared for double-blind review and contains no author-identifying information.
  • Title, abstract, keywords, references, tables, and figures are complete and numbered.
  • The manuscript has not been published and is not under review elsewhere.
  • Permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted images, data, or materials.
  • The corresponding author will provide accurate metadata for DOI/Crossref and JATS XML.

Copyright Notice

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Authors retain moral rights, while the journal receives the right to publish the accepted version in digital and archival formats.

Privacy Statement

Sokhanfam Quarterly collects and uses user information only for scholarly, editorial, administrative, and communication purposes related to the journal. Registration or submission through the system indicates awareness of this policy and acceptance of the use of information for managing the publication process.

Information Collected

The system may store names, affiliations, email addresses, usernames, user roles, submission metadata, uploaded files, reviews, system correspondence, and technical data required for site security and operation.

Use of Information

This information is used for registration, submission, peer review, editing, production, publication, notifications, support, internal statistics, and compliance with legal or scholarly publishing requirements.

Confidentiality

User information and submitted files are not shared with unrelated parties. Access is limited to authorized roles such as managers, editors, reviewers, and technical support when needed for the journal workflow. In double-blind review, the journal works to protect the identities of authors and reviewers.

Limited Sharing

Information may be shared only when legally required, necessary for the publishing workflow, required for technical services supporting the system, or authorized by the data owner. Information published on an article page, such as author names and affiliations, becomes part of the public scholarly record after publication.

Retention and Requests

Information related to the publication process is retained to preserve the scholarly and administrative record of the journal. Users may contact sokhanfam@gmail.com to correct account information, ask privacy questions, or request review of their data.
